For over 14 years, Eastman automated cutting systems have been a technological solution for increased productivity, quality, and cost control among a diversified list of customer applications. The Eagle-EC3 Conveyor is a low-ply CNC cutting system that automatically feeds and spreads material for cutting. The system is designed for cutting/plotting a variety of materials and thicknesses at speeds of up to 60 inches per second (152.4 cm/s). The Eastman Eagle-EC3 Conveyor is the system of choice by leading turbine blade manufacturers and other fiberglass facilities around the world. It is capable of cutting multiple plies of fiberglass at a time, increasing material utilization and reducing labor costs.

Material re-rollers may be added to the conveyor system in single or multiple unit configurations to minimize handling of large cut pieces typically associated with turbine blades.

All Eastman cutting systems feature individually aligned and calibrated tool holders which may be fitted with any combination of rotary and straight knife blades, notches and punches. Depth limiters are standard to protect cutting surfaces. All tool heads include a pneumatic pen or marker holder and can be optionally equipped with EasiMark™. EasiMark ™ is an airbrush system especially useful for marking fabrics such as fiberglass where traditional printing will not work but parts identification is required.
