ETADS
Model: Eastman Tent and Awning Design Suite
The Eastman Tent and Awning Design Suite (ETADS) software features make it easy to design and prepare cut files for tents and awnings. ETADS is an AutoCAD based tool that automates the very tedious task of turning a three dimensional wireframe to a two dimensional form that can be cut with ease.
With data such as depth, length and width, the computer operator draws the tent or awning shape. The drawing is then presented in either two-dimensional or three-dimensional viewing. The software divides the two-dimensional design into panels and positions these to guarantee the least amount of wasted material during cutting.
- Available bundled with AutoCAD 2008, or
- Plugs into AutoCAD 200X software.
- Compatible with all Windows platforms
- Quickly draw tents and awnings.
- Specify attributes: size, walls, valence, etc.
- Unwrap 3D to 2D, slice, label seams, add edge seams.
- Automatic nesting for 2-D tent/awning layout drawing from 3-D wireframe.
- Create and save new files or open and save existing files in AutoCAD formats, Eastman CMD
format or export as Windows Metafile (.wmf), Encapsulated PostScript (.eps), DXX Extract (.dxx), Bitmap (.bmp), Block DWG (.dwg), and other
formats.
- Print drawings/layouts to plotters/printers.
- Turn coordinate units on/off or select specific units: cm, in, ft, yd, meters.
