CONVEYOR BELTING
Eastman's exclusive urethane belt has a fabric backing and is thicker and more durable than any other product by comparison. We estimate our belt life to be a minimum of 2,000 hours of normal operation (Eastman is not responsible for operator neglect or misuse of cutting tools). However, depending on the system application and materials used in cutting, we have witnessed belt life to be in excess of 4 years.
With the introduction of our round tool depth limiters and use of our exclusive tool depth gauge, the belt life has significantly increased by being able to limit the exposure of the blade and by being able to control the penetration into the cut surface. Eastman’s hole design, in conjunction with our open vacuum cavity, allows for maximum airflow. This is why Eastman is able to achieve optimal material hold down no matter where you’re cutting on the surface.

POROUS PLASTIC
Eastman's current selling price on porous plastic sheets is less than any other company in the industry and we will match or beat competitive pricing! We estimate the table surface life to be a minimum of 2,000 hours of normal operation (Eastman is not responsible for operator neglect or misuse of cutting tools). However, depending on the system application and materials used in cutting and with a regular preventative maintenance routine in place, we have witnessed this to be in excess of 4,000 hours or 2+ years.
The Porous Plastic table surface can also be repaired for minor gouges and imperfections using a hot glue application for filling.

BLADES
Normal blade life expectancy is one per day (8-hour shift). The carbide drag knife blade life expectancy is much longer and can cut effectively for 2 to 3 weeks. Blade life is very much dependent on the nature of materials being cut.
