The following information is required to ensure proper installation of your Eastman Worldwide Automated cutter. We ask that you fill out the following to make the installation and training go as smoothly as possible. Please assign dedicated personnel to work with us during your installation and training period. It is important that guide is completed as soon as possible.

Your work is only saved when you click a red button ("Save and Continue Later" or "Submit to Eastman").

To maximize the training experience, it is best that the trainees are undisturbed and spend the full amount of time allotted by our technician for the training.

Our machine trainer allows for 1-2 days of concentrated operator training. The personnel you select for training must have basic Windows skills. (Your local high school adult education program will likely offer a class that would be inexpensive.) If any machine training time is lost due to the necessity of teaching basic Windows skills, additional machine training will be available as follows:

• Within 6 months of purchase, no charge if your personnel come to the Eastman facility (travel expenses not included)
• Within 6 months of purchase, by phone chargeable at reduced rate of $50/hour
• Within 6 months of purchase, on-site chargeable at reduced rate of $100/hour plus travel expenses
• After 6 months but within machine warranty period, both phone and on-site at $150/hour. After warranty period, price reverts to standard rate of $240 on-site

• Internet Access for machine for remote diagnostics
• Lighting over the cutting area
• Waste Bins for scrap
• Floor mats for walking next to the cutter
• Telephone access near by

For customers using RF welders or other equipment that emits RF, Eastman Machine Co. HIGHLY recommends that this equipment be kept at least 70 feet away from the Eastman cutting system. High levels of RF emissions may cause the electronic controls in the system to malfunction. Please note that interference and damage, caused by RF emissions from equipment that is not stationed at least 70 feet away, may not be covered under the warranty of your Eastman cutting system.

Electrical Power Disturbance

If Applicable

It is not recommended that any software other than the cutter software be run or loaded on the cutter computer. Other software can cause problems with the cutter. (Operating System: Windows 10 )

*If the cutter is placed on a network, no other PC should have the ability to read the cutting computer's hard disk. Screen savers must not be used at any time on the cutter computer.

*Once machine ships from Eastman, customer will be notified of shipment departure. From this point on, customer is responsible to work with their Customs Broker regarding custom clearance for shipment, advising Eastman of date shipment cleared and ETA to customer facility. Once this information is received by Eastman, then installation date will be confirmed and travel booked for Eastman technician(s) to install machine.

If your contract specifies that you are responsible for shipping expenses, please advise.
