Atlanta, Georgia – Eastman Machine Company, an industry-leading manufacturer of cutting machines and solutions, will exhibit at Texprocess Americas 2023. Eastman representatives will be on-site May 10-12 in booth 1431 at the Georgia World Congress Center.
In collaboration with five other leaders in the apparel industry, Eastman will be a stop in a textile microfactory on the show floor. Mimaki, Beaver Paper, Eastman Machine Co., Henderson Sewing Machine Co., PremEx Solutions, and Mirisys Software will be producing custom tote bags on demand. The progressive demonstration is a representation of true networked factories showcasing the start-to-finish processing of raw materials to a finished good through printing, cutting, and sewing.
Eastman will demonstrate its C135, an automated conveyorized cutting machine. Manufactured in the USA, the Eastman name has been a cutting room staple for over 135 years. The C135 is capable of single- to low-ply cutting while conveying rolled goods with consistent speed and control. Mirisys will be set up with the C135 to demonstrate scan-to-cut software on preprinted rolls of material.
Additional automated equipment that will be displayed includes the ES-960 spreading system, the EFL-200 fabric loading machine, and the Power Cradle feeding system. Separate demonstrations with Eastman’s line of manually operated fabric cutting machines, configured with the apparel industry in mind, will be held within the booth.
